Lucy

In 2014 Lucy was found abandoned on an Ojai property and rescued by ROH. Lucy suffered from major neglect; she had wire in her mane and tail, overgrown hooves, and was fearful of humans. She would not let anyone touch her. Lucy’s story inspires others to develop trust and resilience. She is not only a survivor, but a thriver. She specializes in trauma and teaches clients that even if they have been neglected, healing is possible.
